Board of Supervisors to Hold Work Session on Rural Zoning Update

The Board of Supervisors will hold a virtual work session to discuss the rural zoning update on March 24th at 7:30 PM. The session will be held on zoom and will be recorded and posted to the Township’s Youtube channel – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBok7e3xXS3-FO9ote22s9w/videos.

Residents can find copies of the proposed ordinance, the proposed zoning map and the study that was done on the project here: https://harristownship.org/proposed-comprehensive-rural-district-rezoning/

All residents are invited to attend the session. Residents can obtain the log in information by emailing the Township Manager at manager@harristownship.org. Public comment can also be emailed to the Township Manager ahead of the meeting.

Board of Supervisors to Meet Virtually

The Board of Supervisors will meet virtually on Monday, March 8th at 7:30 PM. Residents may obtain the log in information by emailing either the Township Manager (manager@harristownship.org) or the Administrative Secretary (secretary@harristownship.org). Public comment can also be submitted via email directly to the Manager to be read at the meeting. Public comment will be accepted until 7:15 PM on March 8th.

The agenda includes discussion of the draft rural district rezoning ordinance and a discussion of regulations for accessory solar uses. The agenda can be found here: https://harristownship.org/supervisors/agendas/.
