Board of Supervisors To Meet October 11th

The Board of Supervisors will hold their regular meeting at 7:30 PM on October 11th at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, 113 East Pine Street. Agenda items include a discussion of the Boal Avenue Road Diet, the Mary Elizabeth Street Culvert Project and the 2022 Police budget. Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission To Meet October 4th to Discuss Proposed Rural Zoning Update

The Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission will meet October 4th to discuss the concerns raised at the public hearing about the proposed rural zoning update. Save the Date: Board of Supervisors And Planning Commission to Hold Joint Meeting on the Proposed Rural Zoning Update

The Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting to discuss the rural zoning update project. They will address the comments that were received at the meeting on September 13th and will try to find a path forward with the project that takes the comments into consideration.

The joint meeting will be held on October 4th at 7:30 PM at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, 113 East Pine Street. A zoom link will be available for those that wish to participate virtually.

Planning Commission To Meet

The Planning Commission will meet on Monday, August 16th at 7:00 PM at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, 113 East Pine Street. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee will also be present at the meeting, as the two committees begin discussing the update to the Official Map. As a reminder, the Township is following the CDC’s guidance for areas with substantial transmission and encourages all visitors to the meeting to wear a mask. We will have masks available at the meeting.

The Board of Supervisors will meet August 9th at 7:30 PM at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, 113 East Pine Street. The agenda includes an update from West Penn on the recent power outages, a discussion of parking regulations in the Village of Boalsburg, an update on the rural zoning project and a review of the Centre Region Council of Government’s Program Plan. Planning Commission to Meet July 19th

The Planning Commission will meet July 19th at 7:00 PM at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, 113 East Pine Street. The agenda includes a sketch plan presentation from Boal Beer Works. You can find the agenda for the meeting here: https://harristownship.org/advisory-board/2014-planning-commission/agenda/

Monday’s meeting will mark the Planning Commission’s debut on C-Net. The move to C-Net was made to promote better transparency of the work that they do. It also enables their meetings to be live streamed. The meeting will air on July 27th, July 28th, July 29th and July 31st on Channel 7 and will also be available to be streamed within 48 hours after the meeting on C-Net’s website, https://www.cnet1.org/.
