C-Net Online Programs More Accessible – A Note from C-Net Executive Director, Cindy Hahn

C-NET, your local Government and Educational Access organization, has been making closed captions available to view on our online programs on cnet1.org since February of 2024. This service has been made available as an option to all of C-NET’s seventeen member organizations.

Harris Township has chosen to support closed captioning of all sponsored programs including the meetings of the Harris Township Board of Supervisors and the Township’s Planning Commission. Captioning on Township programs are also accessible when viewed on several “OTT” platforms including Roku, AppleTV and Amazon Fire.

In addition to Harris Township programs, closed captioning is available on programs sponsored by the State College Area School District, Centre County Government, the Centre Region Council of Governments, Centre Region Parks and Recreation, CATA, Schlow Centre Region Library, and several other C-NET member organizations. Please note that the captions will not be accessible on C-NET’s television channels, but only on the online programs on cnet1.org.
