Board of Supervisors To Meet Virtually

The Board of Supervisors will meet virtually on Monday, October 12th at 7:30 PM. Items on the agenda include the 2021 Police Budget, an update on our MS4 program and the appointment of a representative to the State College Area Connector Project PEL Study Committee. Additionally, the Board of Supervisors will meet on October 28th and November 4th at 5:00 PM to discuss the 2021 Operating Budget and the 2021-2025 Capital Budget.

Residents can obtain the log in information by sending an email to the Township Manager (manager@harristownship.org). Public comment can also be submitted via email. We take public comment until 15 minutes prior to the start of a meeting (7:15 PM for the meeting on October 12th and 4:45 PM for the meetings on October 28th and November 4th).

Planning Commission To Meet Virtually

The Planning Commission will meet virtually on Monday, September 21st at 7:00 PM. Residents are invited to attend and may receive the log in information by emailing the Township Manager at manager@harristownship.org. Public comment can also be submitted via email and will be read into the record. Public comment will be received until 6:45 PM on September 21st.

Planning Commission To Meet Virtually

The Planning Commission will meet virtutally on August 17th at 7:00 PM. The agenda includes action on the Rockey Ridge Secton 5 Preliminary Plan and a discussion of possible regulations for utility grade solar energy systems. The Board of Supervisors will meet virtually on August 10th at 7:30 PM. The Board will receive an update on the State College Area Connector Project (the former SCCCTS project) and will review the impact COVID-19 has had on the Township’s finances, among other items. Upcoming Meetings of the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission

The Planning Commission will meet virtually on July 20th. The agenda for that meeting can be found here: https://harristownship.org/advisory-board/2014-planning-commission/agenda/

Residents can participate in the meeting two ways – by emailing the Township Manager to request the log in information (manager@harristownship.org) or by submitting comments to be read during the public comment section of the meeting. Comments will be accepted until 6:45 PM on July 20th.

The Board of Supervisors and the Planning Commission will hold a joint meeting at the Boalsburg Fire Hall on July 22nd at 7:30 PM. That meeting will focus on an informational presentation on solar energy. Because of the Governor’s limits on in person gatherings, the public is invited to watch that meeting live on the Township’s Youtube channel. That channel can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBok7e3xXS3-FO9ote22s9w/. The meeting will also be filmed by C-Net and will be available on C-Net’s website (https://www.cnet1.org/). It will also air on Channel 7 a few days after the meeting.
